A Podcast Featuring Some of the Leading Experts in Behavioral Health

Concert Health wanted to provide its audience with a resource where some of the leading experts in behavioral health could explore topics such as integrated behavioral health care, community-based continuum of care, and access to care. To make this resource accessible and relevant to its target audience of primary care health providers — a group that is eager for data-driven information but is also very busy — Concert Health decided to launch a video podcast series.

Information and Access

Concert Health worked with Trekk to launch the video podcast, which they called Mind Matters: A Behavioral Health Podcast. The podcast is hosted by Dr. Mena Mirhom, a board-certified psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer at Concert Health. Each episode, Dr. Mirhom meets with some of the leading experts in the behavioral health field to discuss a variety of behavioral health topics.

At first glance, recording, producing, and distributing a podcast might seem overwhelming, but that’s where the Trekk team comes in. For the Mind Matters podcast, Trekk collaborated with the Concert Health marketing team by recording each of the podcast episodes, editing the audio and video files,  and managing the distribution of the podcast via YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

A Podcasting Partner

As Concert’s agency partner, Trekk acted as podcast producer during recording sessions, educating podcast guests on podcasting best practices ahead of time and offering in-studio coaching to ensure a professional end product. In the end, Concert Health only needed to commit a couple of hours per episode while Trekk handled the rest. Now, with each new episode of Mind Matters, Concert’s organic audience of primary care providers grows.
