A Creative Concept that Shows off the Variety and Versatility of Paper

Global paper manufacturer Sylvamo offers unique paper options for nearly every print application brands could dream of, so we designed a high-end luxury sample showing exactly that — meet the fictitious, luxury hotel brand, The Watermark.

The Watermark Marketing Kit Samples

Four Brands, One Sample

Sylvamo wanted to showcase four of its brands of paper: Accent® Opaque, Springhill®, Williamsburg, and Hammermill®, each of which has its own benefits and features. They needed an application sample to demonstrate how all four brands can work together to deliver high-end marketing communications and consistent customer experiences.

The Watermark folder finishing

We designed an application sample package featuring a fictitious, high-end brand in the travel and hospitality industry — The Watermark. Typically, samples such as this would feature only one brand of paper, but The Watermark sample package utilizes all four brands to their fullest potential.

Printed Luxury

The sample features a variety of elegant print pieces including a folder with Pantone® gold on the logo and a UV finish; a postcard; a bi-fold pamphlet about The Watermark’s business center; a tri-fold restaurant menu; a menu of spa services; branded letterhead and notepad; a valet ticket; a laundry service flyer; and a ticket for a movie night event. The folder was also die-cut to provide an additional option for housing internal materials.

Together, these samples demonstrate how luxury brands can create premium print marketing pieces designed to elevate the customer experience, while also showing how Sylvamo’s wide range of papers offers possibilities for nearly any application.

The Watermark Valet Ticket

The aspect I love most about The Watermark project is how we were able to achieve the impression of elegance across a medley of paper types and usages. From the playful movie ticket design to the lavish welcome folder, each piece in its own way successfully exhibited luxuriousness and showed that paper selection can be as important as design.”
